Scope of Application

LINK MC4 Y-Branch Cable with Connector (Pair) is designed for photovoltaic (PV) systems for both indoor and outdoor installations. It complies with and exceeds IEC 62852:2014 standards, featuring IP68 protection against dust and water, and can operate reliably across a wide temperature range. The MC4 connectors ensure low contact resistance, high current transfer capability, and a stable automatic lock system with an anti-accidental unlock design for long-term reliability. The cable is made from 6 mm² LINK SOLAR CABLE, with insulation and outer jacket made from electron-beam Cross-Linked Polyolefin (XLPO) combined with FR-LSZH, providing UV resistance, water resistance, low smoke, and halogen-free properties. The conductor consists of fine stranded tinned copper wires to minimize oxidation and corrosion, in compliance with IEC 60228 Class 5, DIN VDE 0295 Class 5, and RoHS compliant.
